A care guide for your Aura veil

   Storing

Every Aura veil is carefully packaged and delivered to you in a custom box. Once you have unboxed your veil, I recommend you hang it up straight away. Keep the veil out of direct sunlight in a cool, dry area. You can also hang the veil in a garment bag to protect it from dust. I recommend that the garment bag is made out of breathable fabric and is long enough for your veil. Veils without combs can also be hung up on clothes hangers. Once the veil is neatly folded, slip it onto a triangular shaped hanger.

Remember to keep the box your veil came in, as it can be useful later.

   Creasing

After unboxing your veil you'll probably notice some creasing on the tulle. Unfortunately that's inevitable, but easily fixable! To get rid of and prevent forming of new creases, I recommend:

   Transporting

If you need to safely transport your veil, it is best to put it in a garment bag (hang it neatly on a hanger) or put it back in the original box.

To refold your veil, just find a clean, flat surface (like a dining table), lay the veil on an acid-free tissue paper (preferably white) and gently fold everything to the size of the box. Your veil can be stored this way after your wedding aswell.

   Embellishments

Tulle is delicate by itself, but be extra careful with embellished veils. Even though I use the best rhinestone glue and best quality threads for sewing beads, your care for this delicate creation is necessary. Try not to snag the beaded detailing so that you don't rip the stitching or damage the tulle beneath it. If you need to clean something around the embellishment, avoid harsh rubbing and rough handling.

But in the end of the day - have a joyful and carefree time at your wedding! Don't stress too much about a missing rhinestone!

   Washing

Handle your veil with clean hands and be thoughtful of contact with your makeup. If you find a spot, do not wash the veil in a washing machine nor soak it in water. Use a clean, damp cloth or baby wipes instead and clean it with dabbing movements. For removing pet hair, lint or any other unwanted particle, use a lint roller.
